Excellence in Collaboration and Partnership

This award recognises operations teams that have excelled in working collaboratively — either internally across departments such as finance, HR, marketing, IT, or supply chain, or externally with partners, suppliers, or clients — to deliver shared objectives, improve performance, and achieve operational excellence. Entry is by a 5-page A4 PDF submission; the judges will be looking for a clear plan and evidence that it is delivering on core objectives, paying attention to the criteria listed below.

• Team and Project Overview: Briefly describe the operations team, the departments or organisations involved, and the main purpose and goals of the collaboration.
• Collaboration and Partnership Approach: Explain how the operations team worked with others, including key communication methods, tools, and strategies used to foster collaboration and achieve shared objectives.
• Implementation: Summarise the main steps taken to deliver the collaborative project or initiative, outlining any challenges encountered and how they were addressed.
• Innovation and Value: Describe specific innovations, process improvements, or shared insights introduced by the operations team that added measurable value and enhanced project outcomes.
• Impact and Results: Highlight the measurable results of the collaboration, including its impact on efficiency, performance, stakeholder satisfaction, or overall operational excellence.
• Other Facts & Statements: Please include any other statements or facts that highlight the collaboration’s success, including testimonials or supporting comments from stakeholders, team members, or partners where possible.
