This award aims to recognise organisations that have demonstrated exceptional use of data and analytics to enhance their operational performance, decision-making, and efficiency — setting a benchmark for operational excellence over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5 A4 page PDF submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

• Background: Please provide an overview of the organisation, including its size, core activities, and the operational areas or challenges that prompted a data-driven approach.
• Objectives: Please describe the specific goals of your data-driven initiative, outlining how the use of data and analytics was designed to improve operations, performance, or decision-making.
• Execution: Explain how the initiative was implemented, detailing the tools, technologies, or methodologies used to collect, analyse, and apply data insights. Outline any challenges faced and how these were overcome through collaboration, innovation, or leadership.
• Outcomes & Results: Provide measurable results achieved through data-driven decision-making, such as improved efficiency, cost reduction, productivity gains, enhanced forecasting accuracy, or improved service delivery.
• Innovation: Highlight any unique or creative approaches to using data, automation, or AI that delivered tangible operational improvements or informed strategic business change.
