Rising Star in Operations

This award is open to operations professionals with less than five years’ experience in this area. The judges will look for evidence of outstanding achievement in handling ordinary and extraordinary duties, showing creativity, initiative, and teamwork in the pursuit of adding value to their organisation, colleagues, and customers. The individual can be nominated by themselves or by a third party, but please ensure you have their permission to do so. Entry is by a five A4 page submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by facts that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

• Career Summary: A summary that describes the first five years of their career to date as an operations professional and any relevant qualifications or training undertaken.
• Key Achievements: Demonstrate their achievements, what makes this individual stand out from colleagues (above and beyond what would be expected at this stage of their career), and how they have added practical value to their organisation and its operations.
• Innovation: Please include details of any unique efforts, initiatives, or use of technology introduced by the individual that have successfully benefited the organisation and/or its customers.
• Other Facts & Statements: Include any other statements or facts that support the entry, including a supporting letter from the nominee’s head of department or supervisor.
